Confidentiality Training Course

Thank you for your interest in volunteering within the Howard County School System! We value our volunteers and the contributions they make to our students and schools.

According to HCPSS Board Policy, all parent volunteers must complete a Confidentiality Training Course about protecting the privacy of our students, staff, and schools. In addition, all non-staff members who will be in the building and interacting with students must be trained in child abuse reporting procedures. We are asking that all parents take a few minutes to look at a brief power point slideshow outlining your responsibilities with regard to child abuse reporting and confidentiality issues. After reviewing the power point, please print the certificate (it is at the end of the powerpoint) sign it, and return it to your child’s teacher.

Maryland Child Abuse Awareness Training:

In compliance with HCPSS Policy#1030 all volunteers must complete the following training and print their certificate of completion.
