ATTENTION: Redistricting At THES School Year 2013-2014:On November 15, 2012 the Howard County School Board voted 5-2 to approve a redistricting plan that would move new students into THES, and move current THES students to Northfield ES beginning fall 2013. Students from Phelps Luck ES moving to THES: Polygons 67, 311, 1067 ñThe
board approved a move that Phelps Luck ES send to Thunder Hill ES and Thunder Hill ES receive those students in Grades K-5 and future students who reside at properties with access to the north side of Centre Park Dr. and all streets with direct egress to Centre Park Dr.; Columbia 100 Pkwy. and all streets with direct egress to Columbia 100 Pwky.; Executive Park Dr. and all streets with direct egress to Executive Park Dr.; Carson Ct., Teal Wing Ct., High Hawk Ct.; the north side of Old Annapolis Rd. between Centre Park Dr. and 325 feet east of Bendix Rd. and all streets with direct egress to that section of Old Annapolis Rd.; Red Branch Rd. and all streets with direct egress to Red Branch Rd.; Rumsey Rd. and all streets with direct egress to Rumsey Rd. Information for current students at THES who will be moving to Northfield Elementary regarding transition and articulation activities will be forthcoming.
Registration for next school year - Students enrolling for next school year (2013-2014) in the above noted areas should register in the appropriate school based on their address. This includes students who will be registering for Kindergarten.
