We are busy getting things ready for the new school year, and can’t wait to see your child.  Here’s just some information to kick off the 2016-17 school year:

YOUR TEACHER: You will receive a welcome email from your child’s teacher on Thursday, August 25th.   Class lists will not be posted on the front doors and you will not receive a postcard in the mail.    This is the perfect time to update your Family File in the HCPSS Connect.   HCPSS Connect has the directions for creating an account, as well as directions for updating your information.  Please take care of this before August 25th to ensure you receive your email.

OPEN HOUSE:  Join us on Friday, August 26th at 2:00pm to meet your teacher, see the classroom, drop off school supplies, and meet other students in the class.  New students to THES are invited to New Student Orientation that day at 1:15pm.

TRAFFIC PATTERNS:  Over the summer, directional traffic arrows were added to our school driveway.  All vehicles must enter by the tennis courts and follow the arrows. There are new NO PARKING signs along Mellenbrook Road in front of the school.  Cars may not park in the driveway/sidewalk in front of the tennis courts during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal.    Please help us reduce traffic by having your student ride the school bus or walk during nice weather.  Be sure to use the crosswalks and follow the staffs’ directions to ensure safety.   See the attached map as a reference
