The MAP assessments are computerized adaptive tests in Reading and Mathematics that are administered to all students K - 5 at Thunder Hill. The MAP assessments are both norm and criterion referenced tests that will allow teachers and parents to obtain information on a student's performance relative to a grade level norm score as well as how well they are mastering curricular objectives based on the Common Core Curriculum. Norm Scores are reported as RIT Scores (Ready for Instruction Today). Additional information will be provided to parents throughout the school year. Hello and welcome from the Martin family! We are another military family in the neighborhood, and we PCSed to the Thunder Hill area in the summer of 2024. We have two children, one currently attending THES and another who we hope will attend in 2027. We wanted to share some of the places we found most useful while getting settled.
