Thunder Hill Elementary School will host its 7th annual STEAM Day on April 12, 2018. This event will provide our students with a STEAM-filled day through a field day-type schedule.

Throughout the school day, students will rotate through workshops that engage them in learning about content area topics through STEM and the Arts. Each session is scheduled for approximately 45-60 minutes.  Each presenter will present workshops through 3 consecutive rotations. On average, 25-30 students attend each session, although some presentations may accommodate up to 50 students.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to share their professional expertise of the arts (visual arts, vocal or instrumental music, dance or kinesthetic movement, drama) and/or STEM through integrated and interactive, hands-on student groups. Our goal is to provide workshops in various art forms (visual art, music, drama, movement) and STEM for each student. Staff and other parent/guardian volunteers will provide support and assistance as needed.
